I have a 63 falcon inline six and want to convert to a v8 what do i need to do for engine mounts? does anyone have any idea?

Buy a Miller welder. Model 135 or better and go from cardboard to sheet metal mock up to 1/4 . I've made mounts for years in everything from monster Jeeps to custom 49 Mercs.

FoMoCo built V-8 Falcons, why not use the factory parts?

Small block Ford motor mounts from the 63, 64, 65 Falcon/Comet V-8 and 64, 65 66 Mustang V-8 bolt in like they were "made" for the Falcon.

Because they were!

Other engines require custom made parts.

Of course you forgot to mention the trans mount...
