How do I go about sending you information and pictures of my fathers rod to possibly be featured in your great magazine? I know his car is exactly the type of car and more importantly story you folks are looking for. My father is 74 years old this month and has had his '47 Ford business coupe since he was 18 years old. the car and him have gone through many years of customizing, motor swaps, lead bodywork, Saturday night racing and stories that your readers would find very amusing and interesting. He is the proud father of 12 children, owned his own business for 40 years, and through it all, in the back round of every picture, was his precious 47 ford. It now has a new paint job (always the same color, the original sandalwood beige) new suspension, 350 motor, trans, custom interior, and custom wheels, the stories and list of custom features on this car are endless. We have recently found out my dad has lung cancer and he will not be with us very long. I know he has always had a subscription to this magazine, and he looks forward to your fine articles and rods. He is a humble man and would not ever boast about his cars,(he also has a 38 Buick 2 dr slantback, a 36 Chev business coupe both show winners) but I will tell you from many years of getting to read your magazine after he was done, that his car and stories are right up there with the best of them. it would be a proud moment for him to see his car in your magazine. He has a room in his basement just for the trophies he has won at many car shows and the room is literally packed floor to ceiling with 'best of show' and '1st place' trophies. Please let me know who I contact, and how I go about giving you the information and endless pictures dating from 1952 when he bought the car, to last year when I did a photo shoot of the car. I believe it to be his dying wish that I own the car after he is gone because of my continued interest and importance to keeping a sentimental legacy alive and handed down to the future generations of hot rod builders in my family for which I am one. I can be reached at signman1122@yahoo.com. Thanks, a proud son, Tommy
