Have a 31 A two door sedan. Want to know if anyone knows of any articles or has flush fitted the doors. I have four inches out of the roof, removed all the wood and have replaced it with 1 inch square tubing. Thinking of suicide doors also. Have a set of hidden hinges to install also. Thanks for any help.

I will be watching this thread for sure. I have thought about flushing the doors on my coupe for a while now. Hope someone steps up to the plate soon.

Seen 2 different approaches, 1. trim the door edge and set the latch in farther to suck the door in (looks weird) and the other was a high dollar sunken lip that allowed the door to blend into the body.

Thanks. Would you have any pictures of the process available? Taking the measurements, cutting the b pillar would look better but would be more involved. I heard of people moving the firewall forward until the desired gaps are acheived. Having all the square tube framing already installed and the body mounts all lined up with the 32 frame, this would not be an option for me. Any tips or pictures would be of great help. Thanks.
