I have a 40 chevy coupe, trying to put back together with a few questions. is there a place to look at the trunk lid assembly? for some reason I only have a left side post for the hinge. dont know if there should be one on each side.

I just went out in my yard to check my trunk on my 1948 chevy business coup. If you are talking about the support for the lid, my 48 has only one and it is on the left side. The 40 chev is probably the same.
