Lynn Wineland Memorial Info

I've got some information on the memorial.  The funeral is this Saturday March 7th, 2009 in Apple Valley, CA which is mostly for family and close friends.  The memorial is going to be Saturday April 11th at 11am at the Petersen Museum in Los Angeles on the 4th Floor in the Penthouse.  It will be necessary for people to R.S.V.P. as we need a head count.



So please, anyone who can or wishes to attend, please email me at thompson569@cox.net and pass that on to anyone you know that may be interested.

My grandfather also asked that he prefer that people make a donation to the VA Medical Center instead of sending flowers.  They took really good care of him there and he'd rather see the money go to something useful for helping other people.  You may also make a donation to the Petersen Museum or the NHRA Museum in Pomona.

The memorial is this Saturday so hopefully some of you can make it.  Please feel free to share any memories or stories you have of my grandfather as there will be an open mic session for anyone who wants to share.  Also please know that my grandfather requested that people not feel the need to wear a tie.
