Where are the photos of the front suspension?
I'm also thinking that this is an example of a "gow car", the term used before "hot rod". Nice to see such a presentation in regrdas to the history of "street rodding".

I really dig this car so I dug around on the net and found a great build thread over on Ruffrodders.com, check it out. Its amazing what some of the younger guys are turning out on little cash and lots of thought.

Key words "lots of thought" vs. the trend of the 70's and 80's of "LOOK AT ME(translation:I'm an self-centered idiot who wants you to know I am willing to spend $$$ without thought just to be the center of attention)"
Yes, I do agree that there is some hope for the younger generation of rodders.

Thanks for the link to the build photos. Now I know why I couldn't see the front suspension. Only thing I think is wrong was mounting the front springs to the radius rods without a pivot. As the front axle moves vertically the spring will twist as mounted.
Other then that, the photos of the car on page * (#74) confirm what I originally said, that's a "gow car" cira the early 1930's.
