Hey Tim,
Its been almost 2 months  since your last post, and even longer since the last time I have looked at this thread. Have you cut steel yet? If you have I and lots of other guys (I'm sure) would love to see some pic's and hear what techniques have worked best, just as importantly what techniques worked poorly. As far as being hard headed goes, that isn't always bad, that is how tough problems get solved. Edison experimented extensively before he came up with tungsten as a light bulb filament.
