I am a child of the 60's and I have been Kustom crazy all my life. So the recent article on the Atomic Punk was gigantic. If only Kustom would come back full steam.
This article got me to thinking about the Kustom Kings of the past... George Barris, Neil Emory, Darryl Starbird, Roy Brizio, Gene Winfield, Joe Bailon, Ken (Posies) Fenical, Dick Megugorac, Bill Cushenbery, Carl Casper, Ed Roth, and the Alexander Bros. But the one customizer I never see anything on is Jay Ohrberg! Why?
From what I can find he has made some wild TV cars. Why is he so overlooked??
Thanks GCG " Cars is like women....If ya aint married to em dont touch em ! "

Hi guys. I grew up in the 70s but i love the kustom cars of 40s ans 50s. Ive worked with bill hines. Ive learned alot from him. Its too bad that we cant reverse the clock and go back to the 50s.

He built car for himself but now he builds alot for customers. He picked up a 59 el camino with a 327 and has a cam in it. the body is straight. Right now its black. He might change the color and lower it , maybe do some interior.
