Upcoming Tech Articles you'd like to see

We're always trying to keep the readers happy so tell us what tech articles you would like to see use cover.  

I don't have any complaints about what you're doing now. I do prefer the chassis and drivetrain tech articles because they don't require quite the artist's abilities that bodywork does. BUT, I really dig it all, so as I said, I've no complaints. Thanks guys.  

how about airbag suspension installation on a 60's car? (preferably a 63-54 Riviera!)  

maybe some detailed lengthy build articles from the ground up. I am helping a friend redo his 29 A with a TCI frame-we have to basically rebuild the whole car and since we are both very inexperienced we have to rely heavily on whatever we can get to read and look at and try to copy or adapt to our own needs.  

63-65 not 54!!!  

I agree with the chassis build article, but!, doesn't anyone do things the old fasioned way anymore?
I'm talking about a low buck build like a 1949-1952  chevy car where a V8 & A/T is implanted without spending a mint on kit parts. You know like back in the old days,lol!

  I see Mr. Rizzo is doing just the type of series I spoke of at your sister publication. That is exactly the type of stuff I would like to see in R&C.

With the large number of basic hot rods being home built these days how about a series of articles on basic frame and suspension construction using what you find in the yards or have stashed in the shed? I was just reading a thread on a rod site  relating to a suspension that was simple, well detailed and looked kool but wasn't going to work. Binding and breakage was a sure thing.

It wouldn't take long at a few car shows to gather plenty of images of both good and bad home built suspensions and frames.

I've got a 65 Mustang I'd very much like to put saginaw style power steering in.  I don't have the foggiest idea where to start or what things need to be taken into consideration.  If I figured out the mounting and such, what would I do for a pitman arm?  See alot of kits made for things, but I'd like to know how to figure something out and go scrounging for parts.  Too many kits, no room for imagination.  

How about doing an article on converting a mechanical fuel injection setup, i.e.: a Hillborn intake, over to EFI? Or how about an article on how to make your own panel boards (filler/covers) to enclose your trunk area?  

Stupid question time,
   Other than the name, are there any real drawbacks to running a suicide front end? It seems that I could get away without any kickup in the front of my frame by going this route instead of an underslung I beam. My buddy has a suicide front end on his rod and I think it rides and drives fantastic. Any and all input on this would be greatly appreciated.  

Is anyone out there? Maybe I was out of line asking a technical question not really pertaining to a possible future article, but I figured, where better to ask than here.  

I'd like to see more and more tech articles from the very back of the filing cabinet - the Lost Ones, The R&C Historical Archives. i.e. The Vintage Channel Job article is priceless!  

Um I know it has been brushed over before, but an in depth multi part series on body panel alignment, and I would Love you forever. I go to alotta car shows to see misalignment and uneven gaps out the wazzoo.  

Say Kevin I am 17 years old and I just got my 1st coupe it is a 1926 star ,I am wonding about steering and sup.that I can afford.I plan on doing it as a rat rod.289 ford V8 c4 auto with a 9in ford rearend.Iam new at this so any help would be GREAT!!Thanks
