Newbie to this forum. I recently finished chopping the top on a 1949 Chev Pickup and have an "old" project I need to finish. Can anyone give me direction or ideas on what to use as "hinges" and lift or support mechanisms, to be mounted on the lower side of a 1990 Chevy 1/2 ton shortbed pickup box? If you know of a website with an article or close-up pics, etc....I'd really appreciate that. I'm also thinking about sliding the front end assy. forward and then tilting it upward as well....so any articles regarding that would be helpful as well.
I'm about done installing my first Air Ride suspension and want to be able to tilt the bed from the left to the right vs. lifting it at the front and tilting it backwards. I put in a lot of time painting the frame and undercarriage and would like to be able to show that off. Why else do we do this stuff? LOL!
Thanks Icsmannn

Take a look at the magazines dealing with mini-trucks and low riders.
