Hey Guys, Several months ago in Rod and Custom, in the Dream Car of the Month article, there was a 65 or so pick-up, I think it was a chevy, where the designer sectioned the hood and fenders and made a low slung pick-up. The designer even included drawings of which parts to cut and how much. I would very much like to know what issue this was in. Can anyone help? Thanks very much.

It was March 2008, pp. 52-56. The article used a 67-72 Ford as a basis - but suggested that nearly any pickup that featured contours you wanted to use would work.

Absolutely agree. I keep this issue at the "top of the stack" and think - someday!

I really like this idea as well and know of at least two that are being built. One of which Thom Taylor did another rendering for that looks killer.
