Has anyone used the disc brake conversion kits from Classic Performance Products for stock spindle '49 Chevy?  I don't have huge amounts of cash so I just want to do some small upgrades.  My crossmember seems to be pretty good and the car doesn't have lots of miles on it.  I will go with new spindles and related peices while I'm doing the upgrade.  I will later change out to an open rear end (disc brake, S-10) so I can use a t5 behind the stock six (which runs very strong)

So what do you think?

Any advice is appreciated.
