You can find the spring hangers on EBay or Speedway Automotive and Total Performance and they are welded onto the housing.  You'd be a little better off using a Model A spring as they have a little softer rate and almost visually identical.

we used a T spring on a 40 rearend that went into a custom chasis we made a custom T crossmember that we made ourself. If the rearend still has stock(original)spring mounts, all you need to make is a spreader bar. We used a 1" piece of tube 4"s shorter than the spring that is threaded on one end, then get a piece of allthread (half inch)weld a piece of angel iron ont the end of it.weld another piece to the tubing, a nut a washer, put in between spring and start spreading. takes about 10 min to, make 10 to spread it, 10 to say i did it myself!!!
