yes over here in the uk the US scene was not as popular to the home custom scene so yes i was buying Hot Rod and Custom Mags as and when they were in our stores

This is the Raider's Coach in a postcard that was released when the car was current. The model was rereleased a few years ago under the AMT banner giving credit to Barris but not Farhner. Supposedly, the twin 428 Pontiacs were functional and hooked through two auto trans into a chain coupler. Steering was a power rack. The motors appear to be fed through single 4bbls, hidden under fake FI stacks and what looks like typical Barris chromed roaster pan lids.
I think the Raiders were a bit above "bottom rung" Not superstars but they got good airplay with Cherokee Nation
