A great job on the July 08 issue. The narrative style used by Scotty Gossen and the '61 Morris was entertaining and informative, George Poteets car is over the top as usual,(the wheels and hubcaps would cost more than most of us make in a month) and the balancing out of the issue with the other car features and technicl articles amy have produced your best issue to date or in a long time before the present staff. Please keep up the good work.

Hey Jalopy - Thanks for the kind words! Was such an honor to write a first-person story - pretty rare in this biz. I really dug both featured sedans (and I'm not usually a sedan guy). Liked the Olds custom, the tastey T and the Mopar. Got a charge out of the battery story, too. The Autorama story was big fun. As usual, the tech stuff was good, but reminded me of work (gack!). Jeez, that WAS a pretty good issue, huh? So, will you be joining us at Speedweek??? Scotty

See you there. We'll be camped at The Bend in the Road, playing free concerts every night after the course closes. Drop by - but bring your own tomatoes...

Hey e: Credit goes to The Kevs and Tim B, who put together every issue. Those guys work like dogs, down in the trenches, while us freelancers sit at poolside, lighting cigars with $100 bills. And every issue just gets stronger...

Burt: I agree - incredible car! Chris Shelton did his usual good job on this story - bonus points for including build-up pix (my favorite shots). Seems like every day the bar gets raised another notch...
