Yeah, it's a fluffy Frankie and Annette surf movie, (not really a bad thing) but it features two runs by the Showboat with cameras and mics on board, a few runs with the Barnstormer and the Greer, Black and Prudhomme rail, and the "competition" shows up pulling the Barnstormer behind Dean Jeffries Manta Ray. Then the grand finale includes some choice rods chasing down "Von Zipper" in a twin-engine kart. The perfect movie to sneek in before everybody else gets up on a Sunday morning. Available on DVD.

I haven't seen that movie, but I just went to youtube, and watched some footage of the Showboat smoking all four tires. Sure is amazing to watch.

I would tend to believe that Urger is angry at the world, Doesn't like Tommy Ivo or bare metal coupes. He just needs a hug!

Here's a hug for Urger - naked hot rods aren't so scary...
I have a funky copy of that movie - what a kick! I remember watching it at the theatre as a kid - if I only knew then how historical that footage was...
Only met Ivo once (he was running the Showboat at GG Indy in '96), but he came across as a great guy...
