Hello I am new to the group. I have a few project trucks that I am working on. What I am looking for is frame idea's for a truckster that I want to build from the ground up. I was inspired buy the truckster article in nov 07. and I have found the frame article
getting framed II but I can't find the first part of the article. if anybody knows how to find the ist part of the frame article or if you have design ideas for a truckster style frame I would like to see them.

I've found over the years that if you get all your major components,(body, engine,trans, rear end, tires, etc.) and lay them out where you like them, then head to the lumber yard and buy some 2X4s' and cut them to make a frame, similar to a "T" roadster frame (cheaper than steel tubing), when you are done you have the patterns for you rectangle tubing. The left over lumber always comes in handy for impromtu jack stands and shims.
