What a great idea. Have been waiting for someone to catch on to this drivetrain. Great smooth power, and readily available. Wish I had that drivetrain in my current ride, well at least I can see one done. Hope you guys do a full article on it soon. Doug

I'm not a huge fan of the tire choice, but cool none the less.

I like the design, like the '32 E85 coupe from GM, this is using the other side of the brain (retro side) and producing a vehicle to appeal to a whole new segment of car enthusiasts that never look beyond their heated seats and rear window wipers. Now if Ford and/or Volkswagen were to build similar cars, it would give one heck of big pool of ideas. They're not hot rods per se, but they do have some great features.

There are some interesting versions of the'60's Volvo that look like the '46/48 Ford sedans, update the drive train or not, but I'd like to graft on a sectioned grill from a '48 and turn the tail lights sideways.

Yeah, my dad used to have a volvo in the sixties, I can see what you're talking about.

This is built by Leif Tufvesson of Sweden. The design is based on the original Volvo from 1927 called Jacob. Leif won Best rod of the year I believe in 2005 with another rod.
