Hot Rod's and WWII Airplanes have always had a deep connection going back to the days when G.I.'s were returning from war.

The May issue of R&C features a '31 ford that really shows off it's 40's era airplane roots. Check it out when you pick up you're copy of R&C, it's definetly worth a look, rivets and all!  

Definately shows as a well planned out build with attention to detail.  A lot of ideas that can be used by home builders.  The nostalgic theme is getting close to being over used, so builders need to be careful before they get labeled ccokie cutters.  

Yeah all the small details are really nice, like all the interior parts from planes of the era.
