What do you check the site for, the features? on line exclusives? the tech? or is it because it's easier then searching through your piles of magazines?

I can follow some trends on what you guys are looking at online, but I want to hear the real reason you visit us in our web version!

For me it's the exclusive features and the access to the tech articles that are sometimes archived, or maybe I should say the tech articles I can sometimes figure out how to find.

I come to these magazine sites looking for a little insight into the people behind the printed word and maybe some understanding of how decisions are made at the magazine. The exclusive features and message boards like this are a definite bonus!
Thanks for doing it.

I have a feeling you are going to be seeing the actual magazine for quite a while longer. I mean i'm not going to drag a computer into the bathroom any time soon!

You (the editors) continue to outdo yourselves, the Pertinent Parts article for the flathead has probably got Kevin Elliot mumbling to himself, there were a few things omitted that I'm sure someone will want to make an issue of, but the overwhelming information content will negate that, the Round the Bend ,the  mini tub and the pedal install articles along with the car feature articles make this another issue that puts the bar even higher.

"Is it because it's easier then searching through your piles of magazines?"

I check the site for all of the reasons you list.
But the main reason is, working overseas, I can only take 2 or 3
magazines with me for 4 to 6 weeks.
Access to the web site helps feed the car addiction
while sitting pretty much anywhere on the planet.

Even working on the site I find it useful for when I am at a friends house talking about a car in the Mag, i can pull it up right away without having to go home and get my copy of the magazine.

I like the search function. I was wondering about Ego-rama this morning and presto found what I wanted. I will be using the web function more often, I think. Mike
