Thom Taylor has given us a pile of sketches and ideas now, so is the staff of R&C going to build one? It could be a way of recycling all the 60's to 80's Ford, Chevy and Dodge trucks, maybe even an International or an S10.  I'v got a spare '47 Ford Cab that has had the lines drawn on it for a few years now and this has to be the time to forge ahead. The ideas can be expanded to a tub using a crew cab or van body?

R&C has more projects than we can hope to finish at this time but we have heard of a few people who are building one and we hope to have a few build-ups featured as they get going.

Hey Gary,

Amazing stuff... can you post the page at a bigger size somewhere so we can read the text that goes with the pic?

Thanks,

One of my buddies has taken a 57 Dodge 2 1/2 ton truck, lightend and shortened   the frame about a million pounds, I helped him install a Mustang 2 front end (pain because the frame is so wide) Dakota rear end, lowered all around, still has the wide block 318, Added a 94 Dakota  pickup box with the fins from a 56 Dodge passenger car, and "spray can patina" the paint job. You would't see 10 of these at your next car show.

Still got the bug and having 1/2 dozen '42-47 trucks, I got someone to photoshop some images for me. I never liked chopped off roofs with stock winshield posts and roadsters need need a roadster windshield, so plans are to build one that is a finished everyday driver. Still trying to decide between a 302 Jimmy, flathead, ECOTEC 4 or  a SBC that are sitting in shop. Any suggestions? ,

Worked out the final details and got the final design nailed using a '51 Merc flathead. Want to get it done for Reno this year but will have to see how much time I can spare from work.
