Well it finally arrived today.  The DVD about body work.  I knew it was coming as I read about it on the BIG rodder forum a few days ago.

It never got near my DVD player.  It went directly from the received envelope to the return envelope.

What do you think of R&C using your subscription info in this way?
See you down the road

It's disappointing to think that R&C would pimp out my info like that. On the other hand, I really enjoyed the segments on Dragweek and the CHHR (the bodywork story just reminded me of work and left me feeling so tired that I needed a nap afterward)...

I think it is wierd that there no price mentioned in the whole mailing.  It is not cool to send it and then demand it be returned, becuase they are going to shred it anyway.  I didn't see anything on the dvd that can't be seen online or on normal tv.  What a waste.  I hope they never send me something like this again.  And I hope they read this thread.  I used to work in a marketing and research department and we always looked at forums to find out what our customers are thinking.  So here it is - I don't belong to a CD club because I don't want to have to mail stuff back that is unsolicited, and I the quality of the DVD sucks.  Why did they send something about restoring convertables to a rodder.  Don't you think we already know how to build cars...

If it's free watch it, if it doesen't have a prepaid return mailer toss it or hang it on a string in your garden to scare away birds or use as a coaster.  AOL has supplied me with these for years.

Hey, hold on, I'm glad that I got the video, I have shared it with 2 son's-in-law, and 3 Grandsons who are excited to see more, I called to see what the others would cost, found it resonable, so ordered them. One son-in-law is not into cars, but one of his grandfathers gave him all of his model T stuff and he is ready to start on something, one of my grandsons wants to go to Wyotech, and I want to encourge him. Sure there were some things that I already knew, so what,I'm looking forword to getting the other's.Thank You Gale

I got one too. Was going to throw it in the trash. Maybe I 'll watch it now.

Got a pitch to subscribe to Super Chevy too. More to follow I'm sure. Good exercise for the mailman. And the trashman.
