Wally Parks, passed away on Friday, September 28, at age 94.

We can't think of anybody who has contributed as much to hot rodding as Wally Parks. He was involved with the creation of the Southern California Timing Association, Hot Rod Magazine, the speed trials in Bonneville, the NHRA, and much, much more.

Thank you Wally Parks. Rest in peace.

Yeah, it's hard to imagine this industry losing two of it's largest icons like Peterson and Parks in such a short time.

He will be greatly missed, but his work, and influence will live on for a long time.
