What does everyone think about the idea of a '60 'bird being actually built into the Hirohata design?
Personally i think it's awesome, i have always been a fan of the Hirohata Merc, and late fifties Thunderbirds.
Let us know your opinion here!

It's a cool design and tribute but it will never be the Hirohata Merc. It like the Ala Kart, Jade Idol,Larry Watsons' square bird, the McMullen roadster are marques of the hobby and gives everyone a level of excellence to shoot for. Now that said the concept drawings show a car that can stand on it's own merit. So why not take the bar to the next level and give it an identity of it's own?

well, giving the car it's own identity is part of the point, taking an icon and building a repesentation of it from a car from a different decade is partially giving it an identity. i get what your saying, but im not sure you're fully correct.
