I am at the begining stage of a custom rod home build and I lack the experience of installing an IFS. My biggest problem is this is a 1950
Chrysler Windsor and not a Ford or Chevy. There aren't too many after market parts for Chryslers. Would an entirely new late model frame be easier than trying to install an IFS kit?

Considering that you'd have to build body mounts, find a chassis with the same wheelbase and width, deal with transmission and engine clearance, it might be easier and cheaper to look at a Fatman Fabrications kit that is made for your car and rebuild or replace the rear suspension.
