Here's the deal in the early 80's I was given a 1956 f100 with an engraved inscription that read 1964 Salt Flat winner the truck was sold in the mid 80's and I'm trying to get info on the truck. Can anyone lead me in the right direction.

I would try to contact the Utah Salt Flats Racing Association, at saltflats.com I would see if anyone has any information on it there.

Depending on which salt flat, Bonneville, El Mirage, you could probably get the info from The Southern California Timing Association at http://www.scta-bni.org/ Chances are it was used as a push truck but you never know.

Those old pictures of the old land speed cars being push started to get going sure are cool, sounds like the kind of picture that would go perfectly in my sweet cubicle at work
