I am looking to rebuild my 57 Chevy Stepside from the ground up. What are people using for frames for this sort of thing?

I used a 81 Chev C10 short bed frame was a lot of work but worth it in the end. The only problem is the 81 wheelbase is 2-3" longer . But mine was a 8ft bed so cut it down to ***

Why bother with a stock frame from another truck or car if you're going to modify to fit your needs and desires, take a look at the Morrison frame or one of the many advertised in magazines that will come setup with the engine and trans mount as well suspension components set up the way you want them from the get go. In the long run you will save money and headaches and a lot of time.
