I'm new to this, but it is for a worthy cause.
My husband has a 69 Chevy truck that has always been more go than show, but we have been working to change this. I'm wanting to surprise him with a newly upholstered bench seat for his truck for Christmas.
I've been told that a bench seat out of a 1978 - 1988 Chevy truck will fit. However, I've been told that all of the way up to 1998 will fit. Can you please provide me with the right info????
THANK YOU ahead of time for any advice/input.

The bench seats from the years mentioned are generally interchangable. Pick up truck bench seats date back "to the technology of horse drawn wagons". All that usually gets changed is the fabric covering, very seldom the actual metal framework.
To varify ask a junk yard to check the Hollander's Interchange Manual for your application.
