Chuck-California high desert. I have a 1964 Buick Riviera that I bought last December. My son and I painted it in March. it is totally stock for now while I decide what to do with it . I am in a club called The Old Farts Racing Team out of Riverside. I also have a 67 MGB roadster that i am almost finished building for my wife. I got it 7 years ago as a completly stripped basket case. Want a challenge? figure out British engineering! I built a 68 Nova for my son when he was in high school that he still drives every day 8 years later and a 67 Mustang for my daughter when she was in high school that she WISHES she still had. I am also helping a friend redo his 29 Model A sedan with a new TCI chassis.
Glad to see we have some young guys getting involved with old cars. Keep it up and good luck with the projects.
Dan G my illness includes a '48 Plymouth (daily driver), '64 Comet (nice day driver), '60 Comet,'37 Dodge p/u (projects), I hope to someday get to my '67 Triumph Daytona finished too. Man, am I stupid!
Dan, do you have any pics of the Comet online?
NLicata, No, there are no pictures online. I'm the last hold-out on earth. No digital camera, no cell phone, and yes I'm using the internet at work. You probably wouldn't dig the '64 anyway, it's got two extra doors, but it is a Caliente, and I dig it. The '60 is a two door though.
Oh well, I'm sure a digital camera is right around the corner for you. Once you start you won't even think about going back to film. You're not missing anything in the cell phone world though. And you thought that day-job would get you nowhere. At least it got you an internet connection. Probably where a large number of us get most of our online time in.Nick
Hey all, I own a 1956 mercury monterey, that as the story goes(trying to verify) was originally kustomized in the 60's. I will try and get some pics of it. I actually want to send it into R&C to maybe get it in the readers rides section. Maybe then someone might know the origins and get in touch with R&C and then they can let me know. Anyway, I have been into kustom and original 50's and earlier rides. I am 31 years old and have a very understanding wife! Good to see a great magazine has a message board.

Nick, from good ol' Cali. But I am new to the L.A. area and I'm looking for a good, legit, body shop to get some work done. I've got a 63 Dart that needs to be shaved, straightened, and prepped for paint. Any recommendations out there?
